Day 1

Initiated a DIY installation project for a REDTIGER F7N Dual Dash Cam (4K + 1080P, 3.18″, Night Vision, WiFi, GPS, up to 512GB) on a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe.

During the initial assessment, it was identified that the vehicle’s fuse panel uses micro/low-profile mini fuses, while the provided wiring kit includes regular (standard) fuse taps, making them incompatible. As a result, a micro/mini fuse tap adapter needs to be ordered for proper installation.

Day 1 Activities:

• Reviewed the official installation manual
• Studied multiple video references focusing on:
  • ACC (ignition-switched power) connection
  • B+ (constant battery power) connection
• Analyzed fuse box layout and identified potential connection points

Current Status:

• Installation is on hold pending delivery of the correct mini fuse tap adapters

Next Steps:

• Procure appropriate low-profile mini fuse taps
• Verify fuse orientation and grounding point
• Proceed with wiring and mounting upon parts arrival
