Replaced the old SATA disk with a SATA SSD—massive speed improvement.    The setup took some time: clean Windows 10 install, then upgraded to Windows 11 using a CPU/TPM workaround for this older machine. Today I purchased and installed the ZER‑LON GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gaming Graphics Card for Daniella’s computer. The upgrade was completed successfully, and her system is now capable of running a wider range of PC games smoothly.While doing this, I found myself wondering whether supporting her interest in PC gaming makes me a “good father.”

Texas winter really showed up this week — freezing temps, barely any snow, but still cold enough to make the roads slick. Schools closed, businesses shut down, everything slowed to a crawl. Grateful we still have power and water through all of this.
